The closest village is Mellieha situated 5 km away and can be easily reached within 5 minutes by car or public transportation. A number of shops, banks, pharmacies, bars and restaurants can be found in Mellieha Bay and Mellieha Village.

The shoreline boasts of the best swimming and diving spots around the islands and further details can be found in the Scuba Diving section.
Paradise Bay and Mellieha Bay, the Island's two largest sandy beaches can be found 1 km away.
Gozo Ferry terminal is 1 km away can be reached by a short ride on the public transport or by a 30 minute walk from Riviera.
In the Summer months boats to Blue Lagoon depart from the pier in front of the Resort. Chartered yachts which offer round Malta and Gozo tours berth here making it most convenient for day trippers who do not wish to take the boat from other locations.
