Le Marche (pronounced lay markay) region is extraordinarily rich with truffles. You can collect all species permitted by law. In particular, the most valuable truffles...the Tuber Magnatum Pico - the white truffle Tuber Melanosporum – the black truffle.

Agritourism or Agriturismo

A new type of tourism has been developing over the past 20 years in Italy. . This excellent new experience allows you to interact with local farm owner families...a farm stay if you will. These properties may be vineyards or orchards. You will be able to enjoy the produce of the farm and, with the families, you may be able to learn the proper preparation of foods... then enjoy the fruits of your labor.



There is also the opportunity to see how a grapes are grown for wine. Depending on the time of year, you may participate in a harvest, and for sure you will have wine tastings.



Agritourism is a wonderful opportunity to stay in working farmhouses, rather than cookie-cutter hotels. Or you may also be able to rent an apartment. You will have the chance to buy the farm produce... have the freshest ingredients cooked for you, or better yet prepare it yourself. Stay in Italy as if you live there!. This is agriturismi. A farm stay holiday. But please don't think you have to give up the luxuries.. Many agriturismo also have swimming pools. The entire experience is great for families, couples, or a posse of friends!



As part of this special truffle package, we have selected the best artisans of the area so that you can get know the magical atmosphere of the Sibillini Mountains.



You will stay at a charming country house with restaurant, swimming pool and Jacuzzi, near Ascoli Piceno, in the Sibillini Area. Agriturismo Ramuse is located in the magic truffle area, cuddled by the sweet hills of the Marche Region. The country house is immersed in the utmost quietness. Total privacy is guaranteed, in a scenic location 30 minutes away from both the sea and the National Sibillini Park. And for your special enjoyment, there is a swimming pool 10m x 5m and restaurant for guests within the..



Your host and guide Moreno has always appreciated “the sweet breath of the earth.” On his father’s farm they specialize in the production of old varities of apples such as the Mela Rosa dei Monti Sibillini, presenting to the "Slow Food movement in Turin" and receiving some of the best national gastronomic reviews. A graduate of the University of Macerata in Tourism and rural Marketing, Moreno has had the good fortune to know and work with many influential thought
leaders on the Slow Food Movement and frontrunners in Italian gastronomy and tourism. He has also been featured in Italy on “Feast with Heston Blumenthal” on Channel 4 (Italian TV).



Programme:

Day 1: Leave the U.S. and begin your journey!



Day 2: WELCOME TO LEMARCHE

Welcome wine tasting followed by dinner at Ramuse agriturismo.(D)



Day 3: LA STRADA DELL ARTIGIANO

After breakfast in the agriturismo, begin your tour. Arrive at Force village a to visit the artisan who makes shoes by hand. Enjoy lunch in the local restaurant. Visit a Pottery laboratory in Montottone Village. Return to the Agriturismo and dinner out. (Price of dinner is not included).(B/L)



DAY 4: TRUFFLES HUNTING WITH LOCAL HUNTERS AND TASTING

Breakfast in the Agriturismo. 10:00 am: class making fresh pasta with truffle sauce a wine tasting from local wine. After it, we leave the fresh pasta to dried, in the mean time we meet the our hunter friend and we go out the excursion to the wood…”we hope to find something” The walking can during maximum 1 hour of time!



We come back to the Agriturismo for a lunch with your pasta and fresh truffles, and other local recipies included local wine! 4pm finish truffles hunting and , free time to Amandola Village and back to Agriturismo. You can chose to have dinner in the Agriturismo, or since you have a car explore and find a meal in town (Price of dinner is not included. (B/L)


Day 5: AMORE DI VINO

After breakfast visit a local winery, Filippo Panichi, where you will be invited to taste wonderful wines. Lunch in the winery. Second Visit of Caniette wines in Ripatransone the best medieval Village of the area. Return to the Agriturismo and free time. Dinner out. (Price of dinner is not included). (B/L)



Day 6: At Leisure.

Breakfast at Agriturismo. Day at leisure to explore.(B)



Day 7: Say farewell to Le Marche!

Breakfast at agriturismo depart to your Airport for your trip back home.(B)
