On January 24 and 26, 2012, the United States Department of Transportation put new consumer protection laws into effect, known commonly as the "Full Fare Pricing Laws."

Over the years, some airlines began adding surcharges to their fares, including fuel surcharges and checked baggage fees. Acting on behalf of the traveling public, the US Government found these practices to be confusing and difficult for the average consumer to determine the price of their airline ticket prior to purchase.

These new regulations require airlines (and those who sell airline tickets) to include all applicable taxes, fees, and fuel surcharges, whether they are imposed by the airline or the government(s).

As a result, all of our packages which include airfare, now also include all applicable and mandatory taxes, fees, and fuel surcharges. This changes the previous practice, which listed these taxes, fees, and fuel surcharges separately.

In the end, our prices have not increased. Instead of adding applicable taxes, fees, and fuel surcharges as a cost to the package, all Air and Land prices now include these applicable taxes, fees, and fuel surcharges.

Simply stated, there are no additional costs to the price of our Air and Land packages unless you choose optional tours, travel insurance, etc.
